The term totalism may refer to:
  • a musical style based on minimalism but more rhythmically complex
  • a doctrine of wholeness or completeness, the thoroughness of which (especially when involving thought control) can become very close to totalitarianism
  • the philosophical theory of Dr Nicolas Kaloy where totalism is the doctrine of the inner feeling of fusion with what Descartes called "the universality of beings", Plotinus "tendency to One", Plato "ascension to the Idea of Good" and Indian philosophy "Brahman" (see in www.nicolaskaloy.com "the article "Totalism in a Nutshell".
